I have never been scuba diving before or anything like it so when my husband and I were looking for something new that both of us hadn't done before this was perfect! The instructors were very friendly and made sure everyone was comfortable before going in the water. We stayed down for about 30 min and went as far as 20 feet under the water. While we walked on the trail with the helmets on the guides gave us some sea life to handle. When we got out of te water my hair and face were both still dry! After the helmet dive we were free to explore coral world. They do have two rather large aquariums to explore but they aren't easily found. My husband and I almost didn't find them we just happened to come across it. Don't be afraid to wonder the grounds after the excursion if you ave time. With the helmet dive ticket price you should get your money's worth. We had a lot of fun but I don't think we would do it a second time. It's one of those things you do once and move on to something else. I think our next step will be scuba!!!
Yes, I recommend this shore excursion.

My son and I are scuba divers but did not have any equipment with us on this cruise. We were not planning on diving, but since my wife decided to do something we did not want to do, we did this dive. I want you to know it was wonderful! We left the pier in a clean large dive boat and went to a near by island. We did 2 tanks with one on a reef at the island and the other on a wreck. All I can say is the conditions were perfect, visibility perfect, equipment was clean and well maintained, the boat captain and the dive master that helped us was professional. All in all this was the most relaxing wonderful dive I have done. I recommend this dive to anyone that goes to St. Thomas. I will do it again if I visit St. Thomas.
Yes, I recommend this shore excursion.

I hadn't dived in a long time and didn't have my PADI ID with me. The excursion desk on the ship contacted the dive shop and was able to verify my credentials.
The dive shop was a short walk from the ship and the dive boat was a short walk from the dive shop. We took a 20-30 minute boat ride to a spot near a small island. The first dive was on a reef. The water was 30 feet deep, clear and warm. I was happy to see lots of fish various sizes and colours, a couple of turtles, some colourful shrimp and an octopus. We spent about 40 minute underwater. After a short break on board, when I ate some fruit I had picked up at breakfast, we jumped in for our second drive. We dove the wreck of a boat that was allegedly used to transport contraband cargo. It was in about 50 feet of water. Again there was an abundance of fish and other interesting things to see.
I don't have a lot of diving experience and was impressed with what I saw. The crew was professional and helpful. The dive shop supplied all the equipment, which seemed to be in good condition.
Yes, I recommend this shore excursion.

Warm, clear water, very convenient dive shop, very ordinary dives off a crowded boat. Seems to me there were too many divers for the number of divemasters leading the underwater tours. The boat crew was very professional and helpful, but the dive sites were disappointing. Coral didn't seem very robust or healthy, and wildlife sparse. Not a very interesting wreck.
No, I do not recommend this shore excursion.

!st dive was to Spratt Reef. this was to 50 ft. for about a 40 min bottom time. Alot of swim throughs and ALOT OF FISH. 2nd dive was to the NAVY BARGES. Depth was 40 ft for about 50 55 mins. Pretty cool. Alot of marine life, fish, lobsters. It was cool to be able to swim through the barges. Never did that before. There was not much of a surface interval due to the deepest dive being 50 ft. The only problem was water visibility. It wasn't that clear at all. I was disappointed by that but what can you do. The staff was great and shop is right at Havensight mall. YOu leave the dock close to the ship so even though the dive is supposed to be 4 hrs we were done in about 2 1/2 hours. I thought that was great since I had to meet my wife and son. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM. Oh yea, Got the t shirt as well. I GOT CRABS!!!
Yes, I recommend this shore excursion.

I was a little disappointed with the dive, the location in the bay area and a few old wrecks just didn't cut it for a person that dives a lot. If your a beginner, it's perfect for you. For a seasoned Diver, try somewhere else.
Yes, I recommend this shore excursion.
